The Management of Abia State Polytechnic Aba has been commended for their financial prudence in the discharge of its duties.
Speaking during a familiarization/on the spot assessment tour by the members of the Abia State House of Assembly Committee on Science and Technology, the chairman Hon. Chukwuemeka Osoagbaka expressed happiness at the level of on-going construction of the office and class room blocks in the school, equipping of the laboratories with the latest state of the art teaching and learning facilities by the school management and the intervention of the Education Trust Fund which has led to the accreditation of most of the courses in the institution.
He further assured of the readiness of the House of Assembly to partner with the Abia State Polytechnic Aba in making die institution the no.l polytechnic in the country.
Earlier in his address, the Rector of Abia State Polytechnic, Aba, Elder A. A Onukaogu thanked the committee members for their diligence and conscientiousness in the discharge of their oversight function.
He called for an increase in the school’s subvention to enable it pay its workers and maintain the serene learning environment of the institution.
