The Deputy Senate President, Sen Ike Ekweremadu has identified with Governor Okezie Ikpeazu on the laudable achievements and programmes he has put in place in the State especially his plans to improve the commercial city of Aba.
Answering questions from Journalists in Umuahia during his visit to the Governor, Sen Ekweremadu said he was happy that Dr Ikpeazu is driving the plan and programmes to give Aba the major commercial city of Ndigbo a new status.
He used the forum to thank, encourage and give his respect and support for the Governor and charged him to do more on the issue of providing a sea port for the people of the state and South East who are commercially inclined.
According to him, as commercial people and importers, the more sea ports that are available in the region the better.
he further urged the Governor to think of increasing the capacity of Aba people and Ndigbo through his small and medium scale Enterprise programme.
