                                                           SCAM ALERT
ATTEMPTS TO SCAM SOME UNSUSPECTING INDIVIDUALS AND FIRMS BY SOME FRAUDSTERS USING ABIA STATE GOVERNMENT SEAL

Government has observed with dismay, a concerted attempt by some scammers to use the Abia State Government official seals and non-existing agencies to defraud unsuspecting individuals and firms targeting mostly foreigners.

The activities of these scammers has been uncovered and reported to the anti fraud agencies for further investigation.

We hereby appeal to the general public to look out for these scammers whose sole aim is to scam unsuspected firms and individuals, using fake Government seals, letter heads, and illegal unofficial website (www.abiastategovt.com) and non existing agencies like Abia State Development Authority (ASDA) to solicit and issue contracts to unsuspecting persons.

The Security Agencies have been put on alert as our IT Team is working to shut down all the illegal websites being operated by these scammers.

However, be informed that the only official and approved website for the Abia State Government remains www.abiastate.gov.ng.
