Information reaching the Abia State government is that some unscrupulous elements are using the name of the wife of the governor and members of the governor’s family to extort money from traders at the NEW MARKET (Ahia Ohuo) in Aba, claiming that it is for the funding of the court process.
The general public is hereby notified that at no time will the governor and his family ever delegate anybody to collect money on their behalf under any guise.
The public is encouraged to report anybody who is perpetrating this act to law enforcement agencies. Intelligent officers are already on the trail of the culprits and they will soon be apprehended.
