The Ministry later evolved to be known as Ministry of Information, Culture ad Sports with the return of Civil democratic government in 1993. It further evolved to be known and called Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism, and mjuch later under the Government of His Excellency Chief T. A. Orji, it came to be known and called Ministry of Information and Strategy. By May 29, 2023, His Excellency Dr. Alex Chioma Otti OFR rationalized and merged Ministries to cut down cost of governance.
