Who We Are

The Ministry of Arts, Culture, and Creative Economy is the principal government body responsible for promoting and developing Abia State’s rich cultural heritage, tourism, and creative industries. Established in August 2024 by His Excellency, Governor Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, the Ministry was created to harness the potential of arts, culture, and the creative economy as key drivers of economic growth and social development in the state.

The Abia State Ministry of Arts, Culture, and Creative Economy is dedicated to preserving, promoting, and advancing the state’s rich cultural heritage while fostering growth in the creative and tourism sectors.
