The Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, has felicitated the able and indefatigable National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr. Olisa Metuh, as he marks his 50th birthday.
Ikpeazu said having clocked 50, the PDP town crier has successfully completed a circle and is prepared to step into a new dawn of Elderhood.
“As you celebrate your first two score and ten, you are now making the giant leap into Elderhood. We recognize that the height you have reached and kept was not attained by a sudden flight. Yours is a story of courage, hard work, tenacity of purpose and God’s abundance grace,†declared the governor.
The Governor further expressed the goodwill and warm regards of the government and good people of Abia State to Olisa Metuh on this occasion of his silver jubilee and prayed for the wisdom and inspiration of the Elders as he marches on to another phase of his fruitful life.
Ikpeazu also wished him good health and more prosperous years ahead and prayed God to continue to order his steps so that he would grow from strength to strength as he renders service to the country and to his countrymen.
