H.E Chief T.A. Orji has felicitated with Muslims in the State and beyond as they mark Idel-fitri.
The Governor who spoke through his Chief Press Secretary, Ugochukwu Emezue while congratulating Muslim faithfuls for successfully completing the Ramadan fast urged them to use this period to reflect on the teachings of prophet Mohammed which centre on love, sacrifice and peace.
According to Chief Theodore Orji, what Nigeria needs now is peace and unity.
To achieve this, the Governor stressed that everyone, both Muslims and non muslims have to make a lot of sacrifice for the nation to witness development and progress.
Chief Theodore Orji also urged Muslims in the State to use this opportunity to pray for the leaders of this country at all levels.
Chief Orji however assured that his government will continue to provide security for indigenes and non indigenes in the State.
He wished the Muslim brothers happy sallah.
