GOVERNOR TA ORJI (OCHENDO) WINS IKECHI EMENIKE AT SUPREME COURT ABUJA

Abia State Governor Chief Theodore Orji has described his victory against Ikechi Emenike at the Supreme Court as victory for democracy and Abia people.
Speaking through his Chief Press Secretary Ugochukwu Emezue, Chief Orji maintained that the judgement has confirmed that he won the 2011 governorship elections overwhelmingly.
According to Chief Orji, his mandate is divine and no man can take it away from him until he completes his tenure in 2015. The Governor, who was highly elated, proclaimed that he has committed himself to building an Abia State that everybody will be proud of, especially in the area of infrastructural development as being witnessed presently.
He maintained that this victory which is coming at a time he is celebrating his one year in his second term, will only spur him to make more sacrifices for the good of Abians.
He used the opportunity again to extend his hand of fellowship to those who lost out of the polls, as he insisted that the interest of Abia is greater than any other interest.
Chief Theodore Orji assured that, he will never look back as far as transforming the state is concerned.
He urged Abians to continue to pray for the state and those in authority as he puts it. “Our hope is built on God and we will reach the Promised Land”.
