Abia state Governor, Chief Theodore Orji has joined other well-meaning Nigerians to thank God for sparing the life of the Governor of Taraba state, Danbaba Suntai and his aides after his private jet crashed on Thursday while landing in Yola.
In a press statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Ugochukwu Emezue, the Governor declared that God has saved the nation from what could have been another mourning period after the crash of the Dana airline recently.
Chief Orji said that it is obvious that God answers prayers especially this period our muslim brothers are marking the eid el kabir festival which has been characterized by prayers for the leaders and the nation.
The Governor called on all Nigerians to pray more for the Taraba state Governor whom the president visited in Abuja national hospital.
Governor Orji said he was optimistic that his colleague who was said to have sustained serious injuries with his personal aides after the crash will recover soon.
