Abia State Governor, Chief T.A.Orji, has expressed gratitude to the people of Abia Central senatorial zone comprising of Osisioma, Isiala Ngwa South, Isiala Ngwa North, Ikwuano, Umuahia South and Umuahia North Local Government Areas for voting massively to ensure his victory in last Saturday’s National Assembly polls.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr.Charles Ajunwa, the Governor appreciated the Abia Central constituents for coming out en masse to discharge their civic responsibilities thus giving him victory to represent them in the Senate.

Governor Orji who assured not to let them down, said he would strive to give them quality and effective representation at the red chambers of the National Assembly.

According to him, his selfless service to Abians as Governor attests to what he can do at the floor of the Senate and promised to attract more dividends of democracy to the people.

The Governor who lauded the Abia Central people for the confidence they reposed in him and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), urged them not to relent until the final victory is won.
