Governor Okezie Ikpeazu reassures Aba residents on timely completion of roads in Aba

Governor Okezie Ikpeazu says all the 25 roads currently being constructed by his administration in Aba will be completed this year.
He stated this while commissioning the Owerri Road by Okigwe and the Udeagbala Road rehabilitated by his government in Aba.
According to him, a total of 47 roads are being handled simultaneously by his government in various parts of the state and assured that more roads will be done.
He made public that full rehabilitation work will soon commence on the Ohanku, Ibere and Obohia roads, pointing out that he is in government to serve the people.
Governor Ikpeazu called on Abians to remain calm over the Appeal court verdict against him as nobody can steal his mandate but rather to support his administration to succeed.
In his speech, the commissioner for Works, Hon Eziuche Ubani assured of the durability of the roads which were done using cement technology adopted by the Governor.
He said that the technology has reduced the cost of road construction and stated that by the end of the first tenure of the Governor, all the issues in Aba would have been dealt with.
Also speaking, the contractor handling the project, Engr Enyinnaya Mba thanked the Governor for the opportunity given his company to display the cement technology which is now widely used in road construction in Aba and assured that roads done using the technology will stand the test of time.
The Governor also inspected the progress of work on other on-going road projects in parts of Aba metropolis including Ochefu,Umule, Ukaegbu among others.
