The Governor of Abia State Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu will on Tuesday July 3rd 2018 flag off the distribution of the two million high yielding Tenera Oil Palm seedlings raised by the Ministry of Agriculture at Ayabaumueze, Osisioma Local Government Area by 11:00am prompt.
To this end, the Commissioner for Agriculture Rt. Hon. Uzo Azubuike invites The Deputy Governor of Abia State, Rt.Hon Ude Oko chukwu, The Speaker and the Deputy Speaker Abia State House of Assembly, The Chairman House Committee on Agriculture, The Chief Judge of the State, The President Abia State Customary Court of Appeal, The Secretary to the State Government, members of the State Executive Council, The Chief of Staff, the Head of Service, all Permanent Secretaries, Executive Chairman of the 17 LGAâ€™s, Special Advisers and Assistants to the Governor, others include; The Vice Chancellor Abia State University Prof. Uche Ikonne, Heads of Federal and State Agricultural Institutions, the Director General BCA, Traditional Rulers, Community Leaders, all Farmers Associations, Farmers Cooperative Unions, members of Oil Palm Growers Association, Media practitioners and the general public to the epoch event.
