The State Government has directed all contractors handling Road and Housing projects for the State to immediately return to site to complete the projects.
A statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Charles Ajunwa, especially called on those contractors who have been advanced some funds by the Government to adhere strictly by this directive as a high powered team has been set up to monitor and ensure compliance.
The statement further warned that contractors who go contrary to this directive would have themselves to blame.
Mr. Ajunwa stated that the State Government is in a hurry to complete all projects it has started before 2015 and would not want anything that would serve as a cog in the wheel of progress.
