Following the need for equitable access and judicious use of land by interested persons or institutions, and that lands in Abia State are appropriately accounted for to aid government development plans for the people, nobody, group of persons and or community, under any guise whatsoever is permitted to sell, lease or transfer any parcel of land that is more than 100 plots in any community(ies), singly or jointly, to any person/group of persons/institution without getting a formal clearance from the state government through the Ministry of Lands & Survey.
Anyone or community found to flout this directive shall not only be severely sanctioned, such parcels of land will be revoked and or seized from such persons or communities without any recourse to them.
Potential buyers of such lands exceeding 100 plots in any community(ies) should seek formal Consent of the State Government.
Anyone or group who wishes to buy and or possess by any means any parcel of land that is more than 100 plots in any community(ies), singly or jointly, without first getting a formal Government Consent will have such lands revoked and or seized without any further recourse to such transferee(s) or even the transferor(s).
This directive should be treated with utmost seriousness.
