The FPSU, between 15th and 17th August, 2011 embarked on a Supervision visit to Abia State to: review operational activities vis-a-vis the approved CDPs, ascertain quality of GDPs being implemented, crosscheck level of compliance against observations made during the CDP reviews, observe the impact of crosscutting trainings on operational activities, determine the extent gender/vulnerable groups and environmental issues are being mainstreamed in the operational activities and compare the quality of CDPs approved by the state agency and those approved by the World Bank. The visit turned out to be very successful.
