Abia State Governor Chief T.A. Orji has congratulated President Goodluck Jonathan on his recent victory at the election tribunal. In a statement by his adviser on Electronic Media Ugochukwu Emezue, the Governor declared that the appeal court judgement has vindicated President Jonathan. According to him, the 2011 poll was free and fair as confirmed by the International Community. Chief Orji said that he is happy that the President remained focused while the case lasted. He appealed to the opposition to join hands with Mr. President to transform the Country. For him, President Jonathan has good intentions for the nation, in-terms of making the country economically sound. Governor Orji urged Nigerians to support the President. Chief Orji used the opportunity to also congratulate the PDP on this victory which he said will spur the party to more victory as the governorship election in some States is around the corner.
