Abia State Governor, Chief T. A. Orji has congratulated the Governor-elect of Kogi state Wada Idris on his victory in the gubernatorial poll in the state. Speaking through his Chief Press Secretary, Ugochukwu Emezue, Chie T. A. Orji said that his victory is a confirmation that PDP is the party of the people as exemplified in its programmes. According to the Governor judging by the performance of the present Governor, he was convinced that Wada Idris will emerge victorious in the election. The Governor commended the people of Kogi for their confidence in the party. Speaking further the Governor acknowledged the input of President Goodluck Jonathan during the campaign of the Governor-elect. For Abia Governor Alhaji Idris should see his election as a call to duty as expectations are high from his people in terms of good governance.
Chief Orji also called on him to extend hands of fellowship to his opponents.
