Christians have been challenged to become instruments for the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The speaker, Abia state House of Assembly, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu threw this challenge during a courtesy visit by the Nigerian Association of Christian corps members at the assembly complex recently. Sir Oko Chukwu urged Christian faithful to always remember God’s faithfulness and favour in their lives by identifying with projects that edify their faith and belief in the true God.
Hon. Ude Oko Chukwu further identified selfless service to humanity as the only panacea to the problems of the country and commended the corps members for embarking on the construction of the chapel at the National Youth Service Corps orientation camp in Umunna, Bende Local Government Area of Abia State.
He advised them to be worthy ambassadors of the Christian faith by living an exemplary lifestyle in their places of primary assignment.
Earlier in his address, the President of the National Association of Catholic Corps Members, Abia State Chapter, Mr. Aloo Celestine commended the developmental strides of His Excellency, Chief T. A. Orji who he described as “Mr. Infrastructure” and the supportive role of the Abia State House of Assembly in enacting enabling laws for the good governance of the state.
He pledged unbehalf of his colleagues to be good ambassadors of unity, progress, peace and security as exemplified by the tenure in office of the speaker, Abia State House of Assembly, RT. Hon. Sir. Ude Oko Chukwu.
