NOTE:
A. Abia is a high testing State and indeed the highest nationally in August and possibly, September, so far.
B. Testing is key to breaking the chain of transmission.
C. We have established sample collection points in 14 LGAs while the remaining 3 will be established today and Monday.
D. Contact tracers have been trained and deployed in all LGAs
E. We have isolation facilities in Aba and Umuahia with only about 20% of the capacity used so far.
F. We currently have the highest testing capacity in the entire south east region with one GenExpert and PCR equipment in Amachara Specialist Hospital, Umuahia, while another 16 modular GenExpert equipment has been installed in Aba. Abia is the only state with a 16-module GenExpert Equipment in the region.
