ABIA MOVING FORWARD ON EASE OF DOING BUSINESS
In 2015 when Abians unanimously elected Governor Okezie Ikpeazu as their chief servant he promised to put Abia on the global map. He has painstakingly put structures in place to achieve this goal. In 2006 the World Bank began ranking states in Nigeria on Ease of Doing business, this process happens every 4 years however Abia has always been missing out but not under Ikpeazu. This year 2018, Abia was fully prepared and represented by all the required officials. After the meeting the World Bank team appreciated the efforts of the state government on Ease of Doing Business. One top issue was the One Stop Shop concept of Gov Ikpeazu, it stood out and gave Abia an edge over all the South South and South East States at the Nike Lake Hotel and Resorts Enugu.
