Aba the pride of Abia to witness sustainable rapid development…Gov T.A. Orji

Abia State Governor, Chief Theodore Orji has reaffirmed his determination to make Aba compete favorably with notable commercial cities in the continent and beyond. Speaking through his Chief Press Secretary, Ugochukwu Emezue, Chief Orji maintained that he was aware of the depreciating nature of the city right from the day he became the Governor.
According to him, his efforts to implement his blue print as far as Enyimba City was concerned were slowed down by a lot of factors that are in the public domain. Now that those factors which include insecurity have given way, he is on course, to turn around the fortunes of Aba. Chief Orji hinted that apart from roads that are gradually receiving attention, his government has not relented in deflooding the city, as the opening of blocked drainages over decades, are being cleared on daily basis, to the admiration of the residents.
The Governor also stated that the restoration of the master plan of the city will continue so as to give the Aba a new look.  In the months ahead, Chief Orji said Aba people will experience regular power supply like Umuahia as the Independent Power Station in Alaoji and the Geometric Power Station will be commissioned. He said that he is partnering with the Federal Government on this issue.
The Governor pleaded with Aba people to be patient with him as he is focused on making an indelible change those before him couldn’t make.
