Abia State Governor Chief T.A. Orji has congratulated the five Corps
members from the state who recently bagged the NYSC National Honours
Award.
Speaking through his Chief Press Secretary Ugochukwu Emezue,
Governor T.A. Orji who commended President Goodluck Jonathan for
recognizing the Corps members described the National Awardees from
Abia State as worthy ambassadors. The Governor stated that he was
particularly happy that the overall best of the corps members is a
female and from Abia State.
Governor Orji said that these youths from the state have proved again
that Abia has great potentials and materials that can take the state
to the desired heights. According to him the youths in Abia are being
equipped educationally to face future challenges. For the Governor, he
will invest more in education which he said remains the platform for
the youths to excel. The Governor hinted that Abia will soon host the
Corpers.
