Abia state governor has expressed his appreciation to all the
dignitaries that graced friday’s traditional wedding between her
daughter Nneoma and the husband Obinna especially President Goodluck
Jonathan represented by Labour Minister Emeka Nwogu. The Chief Press
Secretary Ugochukwu Emezue,in a statement stated that Governor Orji
extends his warm appreciation to Governors Peter Obi, Rochas Okorocha, wives of Ebonyi , Rivers, Cross Rivers States Governors he Deputy
Senate President, former Governor Achike Udenwa. Others are former
Chief of General Staff Ebitu Ukiwe, DiG Ivy Okoronkwo and Uda Acting
National Chairman of PDP , Chief Ojo Maduekwe, Arthur Nzeribe, Chief
Emma Iwuanyanwu, members of National and State Assemblies .The
Governor specially thanked Abia people for coming out enemasse to
honour  the event. Speaking further Chief Orji thanked the people of
the state for their understanding as regards the heavy traffic
situation witnessed in the city during the occasion. Security Agencies
in the state were also applauded over the professional manner they
discharged their duties.The Governor also acknowledged the prayers of
the clergy which contributed to the success of friday’s event. Chief
Orji however prayed God to bless all who made the event a huge
success.
