Abians coming home for the Christmas especially those from Ohafia and Arochukwu has no cause to worry as the Governor of Abia State have ordered the rehabilitation of this federal road which is in a deplorable condition.
According to Chief Orji who plied the road recently to an event in Arochukwu, time has come for him to intervene despite the fact that the road belongs to the central government.
The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor Ugochukwu Emezue states that Chief T.A. Orji is also not relenting in ensuring that other roads in the state get the attention they deserve.
The governor’s spokesman hinted that apart from Bende Road which is being dualized, the Ubakala road is also receiving serious attention.
Commenting further on the roads in Aba, the Chief Press Secretary hinted that Chief T.A. Orji has given firm assurance that such roads as Ohanku, Portharcourt Owerri Road Ukwu Mango, Ariaria road will all be completed on time.
Mr. Emezue hinted that Governor T.A. Orji is about opening some roads that will help discongest traffic during the Christmas and festive season.
The Governor’s Media aide appealed to Abians to be patient with the Governor as he is determined to transform Abia.
